Pros
There are a lot of smart, talented, and hard-working people at Tecovas. Both new and old. They are paving a new path in the Western space and, though fast-paced, it's an exciting brand to be a part of with plenty of opportunity to learn. Seeing how bought-in people are to Tecovas, employees and customers alike, was inspiring.
Cons
There seemed to be a fear-based culture developing that left people consistently in fear for their jobs, while also feeling overworked and under-resourced. Growing pains are a natural part of the success Tecovas has reached, but it began to feel like an environment that did not support the employee voice, or award honest development over finger-pointing. Senior leadership does not seem to be in sync, and it can make decision-making and overall goal achievement feel like an ever-moving target. One that employees are responsible for, but have no real support to achieve.
