Pros

Can't think of many but if I have to write then US (Citizen) hires are much better to work with than the other contract hires. Please note most reviews on Glassdoor are from TLI India Employees. TLI India has much better policies compared to TLI US. But they lack overall vision and strategy information.

Cons

Looks good on paper but in reality the management violates multiple parts of the initial offer letter. They also try to make you sign the offer letter and NDA without giving you enough time. Make sure to read everything and add clarifying clauses where ever you need them. They avoid writing clarifying clauses in the offer letter and maintain ambiguity to use to their advantage so get everything no matter how big or small in writing. Insist on changing contract and NDA language. Contact a lawyer if you have to before signing anything. The management tries to strong arm employees into accepting changes specially if you are a fresher with an indenturement clause in the offer letter Family owned business so a lot of employees are "family members" or "pseudo-family members" making for limited growth opportunities also "family members" have a sense of entitlement and lack common curtsy when others do not agree with their style of working Most project leads/managers are core technology people who have been with the company long enough but they lack basic management skills, knowledge and aptitude making for unhealthy and unorganized team and project delivery environment Since over 70% employees are Indians and most of them are on H1B there is a clear divide between H1B holders and US Citizens. Making for a very politically raged environment The HR makes a very minimal effort to connect with people and understand their issues and problem. Most of the time it’s their way or the highway. The trend is shifting from a consulting firm to a contracting firm. TLI management is trying to grow the business by shifting costs onto the employees which they fail to mention during the interview process. Do not trust the HR or even the top management’s word. It actually means nothing. On multiple occasion they do a complete 180 from what they said in the past, in some cases on things they give in writing as well. Also avoid talking with the HR. Reach out to the top brass directly. The HR is not worth your time and are highly incorrigible. Most top consultants have recently quit due to their opaque practices and policies.

Supportive mentors and collaborative team environment.

Cons

Limited stipend or compensation. Some projects had unclear requirements initially.
