Pros
The people are lovely. I didn't enjoy the work although we had loads of laughs and made it fun working together on turf.
Cons
They provide lunch although its on a tight budget which means the sandwiches are the cheapest possible.
If something happens to you while on turf (i.e a dog bites you or you're attacked by someone) then you're not insured medically.
The company would warn us if we didn't make any sales for two days in a row then we would be fired. This is what happened to me. Although we had great managers working with us in the office, the bosses in Melbourne would tell us 2 strikes and you're out. All they did was put pressure on us to make sales, which makes things a thousand times harder.
After they had fired me they asked to have me back for a weeks work in Albany, which i was happy to do because it meant we could have some laughs together and travel a little bit. They told me i would have to wait 45 days to get paid. I was fired on the 14th May 2012 and still haven't been paid by them. The have also done this to a few other girls who are still currently working for Telefield Sales.
