Pros

The people you meet (NOT including the bosses) Literally nothing else

Cons

Treat you like a machine Expect you to give your life to them Are not accommodating to employees Use fear tactics to keep people in line Dying business, people own iPhones now Commission was a JOKE, also made us live in their housing and pay them from the little money we got to keep for ourselves Until you sign a housing agreement, they claim they can fire you without notice and will actually do so without providing you a real reason (happened to several of my coworkers) and then will kick you out of housing with 24 hours notice They truly do not care about their employees, any concerns or complaints that were raised were met with retaliation most often in the form of firing

Pros

TPX is under new management & has improved immensely in every aspect! Applying for Telescope Pictures was the best decision of my life! Prior to working with Scopes, I had never heard of it before or even been to Ocean City in my life. I was what you can call an “introvert” and a homebody. I was nervous to work with the public and live away from home for 4 months. It brought me out of my shell and it gave me some of the best memories and the greatest sales experience that future employers will be impressed to hear about. Not only did it give me life long friends and a great experience, It paid most of my college tuition and I am now debt-free because of my hard work and great management from Telescope Pictures! The sky is the limit with this job if you let it.

Cons

It is hard work and it is difficult if you are not self-motivated. Some people can be rude and you have to have tough skin... It is the public and people are rude, but that is with any job working with the public.
