I have been with TeligentEMS for almost 2 months and I must say this is a company like no other. Everyone is so upbeat and ready to cooperate to get the job done. The managers communicate with their employees and strive to create a positive work environment. There are various opportunities to advance with the company. Some of the benefits they have include insurance coverage, vacation time, paid personal leave, and flex time. Teligent pushes to ensure the customer and employees are well taken care of. I am honored to have the opportunity to become a regular full time employee and further my career with such an amazing company.

Starting out as a contractor, you do not get holiday pay.

Paychecks are issued every 2 weeks and banks cash them.

This is a toxic work environment. Hourly pay is LOW. People who have worked here for 10 years still don't make $11 or $12 an hour. That is a poverty wage. Salaried employees are treated as hourly employees having to clock in and out BUT never paid for overtime AND time is docked if you are a minute late or leave early. Worst time off and vacation benefits of any employer. Company has mid-century (1950s) attitude towards employees and does not realize they are, or at least could be, their greatest asset. Mediocrity is tolerated. Engineering is weak link in their system. They will spend a dollar to save a dime. Old equipment. But new cameras are everywhere so "Big Brother" can watch your every move.
