Pros
MAIN PRO: My internship ended as soon as Covid hit. I believe they could have survived without me, but they decided to hire me on full time nonetheless. I will be forever grateful for the stability i was given during such difficult times. Not micromanaged. Worked throughout Covid-19. Management was hesitant but relatively quick to allow us to transition to remote work before it was required -- they prioritized our needs over their concerns. My manager, Zulma, was very nice, as were my coworkers.
Cons
Based on my LinkedIn connections, it seems like they have received a significant amount of turnover in the past 2 years. Some layoffs weren't handled appropriately in my opinion. When we closed our office for good, we were strongly encouraged to go take some furniture to improve our home office set up. After declining 3 times, I agreed to go take a desk. When i quit MULTIPLE months later, I was required to pay for the desk. Felt sketchy, considering i was told that if i hadn't taken it, it would have been tossed.
