Pros

World-class corporate culture. I'm not just talking about the coffee and the snacks and the dogs. This place makes you feel like a family, and quickly. There's no fear in asking anyone a question, even upper leadership. It's actually encouraged to branch outside of your circle of teammates for help/ideas/questions/etc. Leadership is open and listens to employees, trying to make the workplace better both culturally and in performance of job. Company shows support of its employees in and out of the workplace, supporting community projects that employees are engaged in. Benefits are numerous and wonderful. Simply, what makes Terakeet great and truly refreshing is how dynamic it can be. When something isn't working, it's usually identified and fixed quickly. If you come from a large company that takes ages to innovate or change an archaic practice, you will find it very different at Terakeet.

Cons

In your duties, some dishonesty is effectively built into the job. This can be made worse when there is pressure to produce and the mindset of "say anything to hit our goal" is fleeting at first but widespread when you look around. If you aren't comfortable with white lies in the duty of your job, this isn't the place for you. If you aren't a good e-mailer, this isn't the job for you. Having a strategic mindset going into this job will set you apart, but the strategy department suffers from serious groupthink (example: reusing the same safe strategies until they are completely useless). At first, unique ideas outside the box are often dismissed or set on the back burner, depending on supervisor. Persistence is key to proving your ideas and getting them implemented. While benefits are numerous and add value to compensation, salary is far below competitive for an entry-level marketing position in Syracuse. Any salary data website will show entry level marketing in Syracuse with a 4-year degree will earn you high 30's to low 40's. Considering a large portion of the workforce has student debt, this can be a detractor if you don't have the ability to live at home to save money.

Pros

Amazing benefits, great coworkers, flexibility and work/life balance

Cons

Nothing for myself personally – it is fast paced, changes often internally with org structures and processes; you have to be able to be flexible and adaptable.

Pros

-Strong opportunities for growth and advancement for those willing to invest the effort. Success is earned through hard work and contribution. In my time here I have been able to carve out my own paths through hard work that have led to multiple and very different, yet fulfilling roles. -Terakeet has made some recent changes to the leadership structure that has had immediate improvement on communication, professional development and has eliminated bottle necks for decision making. -Leadership is receptive to feedback and actively works to improve. While decisions may not always align with every individual’s expectations, it is clear that thoughtful consideration is given. -Transparency is a clear priority for leadership. In response to employee feedback requesting greater visibility, leadership has made intentional efforts to increase transparency while thoughtfully balancing the need for discretion and responsible communication. -Terakeet is consistently evolving to meet the changing needs of its clients and the industry. The company continuously adapts its tools, processes, and strategies to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and a competitive edge in a rapidly shifting landscape. -Compensation is fair and aligned with industry market standards, reflecting role responsibilities and performance expectations. -Terakeet values it employees. Most recent example I think of is Terakeet absorbed the increasing cost of our health insurance. -We are led by an all women executive team!

Cons

As anyone would expect we are experiencing some growing pains as we scale our reputation management business. Short staffed, so the day to day is currently hard. We still have some crabs in the bucket. Those are are disengaged at our company wide meetings, miss important information that is being shared. Without that information they are left to make their own (wrong) assumptions and start to spread unneeded negativity.
