Pros

Car, phone, and gass paid for by the company. Pay plan is not too bad but your commission depends on a lot of factors other than just making the sale.

Cons

You are expected to work Monday through Saturday from 8 am to at least 7pm ( meaning you leave your house at 7 am to be at your first appointment/meeting by 8 am and most days you will not be home until 9pm). They don't allow you to take Saturdays off AT ALL and they also expect you to do meetings, call sessions, and door knocking. You will have a management team that are far from qualified and that makes you responsible to figure everything out on your own. The new pay plan is good enough except that most of the time the techs can't even get the job done. Also get ready to inspect, propose, charge, schedule, and be the customer service representative while trying to make your appointments at the same time. Needless to say that I'm leaving this Slave driving company before I kill myself driving at night and utterly exhausted as the employee's safety is not important to them compared to getting a sale.

Pros

Take home work truck and okay benefits.

Cons

we used to get a couple days off the end of the month to help recoup, but that's gone now Also Employees are pressured to submit sales leads or risk being scheduled for mandatory Saturday shifts. Stops are often completed early in the system to improve performance metrics, creating inaccurate reporting. This leaves fewer scheduled services for the following month, forcing employees to scramble to find additional stops just to meet their production goals.
