Pros

Nice people, nice wework office. There were a couple of talented designers, but the work was boring so they weren’t really shinning.

Cons

The COO got drunk at a company happy hour and basically implied I was a womanizer my second week on the job. I had barely talked to anyone at that point because I was new, so obviously it was out of left field. He publicly apologized at a company meeting the next day, but he’s a young 32 year old guy with a chip on his shoulder . It left a bad taste in my mouth and ultimately effected my performance. The design is boring mainly because they have boring clients. If you go here thinking you’ll do interesting work you’ll be in for a rude awakening. Nothing portfolio worthy will happen here. I was let go after a month. Half the time I was doing photo research. There was never really a chance for me to show what I can do. I got word others that I felt were doing a great job we’re also let go shortly after me. Be prepared for hired and fired. Plan ahead.

Pros

I truly love working here! The opportunities to work with diverse clients on lots of content types make every day interesting. A great place to be if you like to "do the work" - on the Content Team, we really do a lot of writing and editing; we're not just farming it out. What makes this place special is the team. My colleagues are not just smart and creative—they’re also kind, authentic, and genuinely supportive. It’s an environment where everyone encourages each other to grow, collaborate, and keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. I’ve grown so much in my career here and feel proud of the work we’re putting out. If you want a place that challenges you in the best ways, surrounded by talented and thoughtful people, this is where you want to be.

Cons

Fast-paced environment can be demanding at times. While we look to uplift the team through new opportunities, growth can ultimately depend on client load/revenue, as is typical for agencies. Even so, if you're a go-getter, the sky is the limit for meaningful contributions you can make here.

Pros

-Remote work provides flexibility. -Most of Terra's employees are friendly people who are good at their jobs.

Cons

-The pay is below average. -The organization is siloed w/poor communication. -Too many unnecessary meetings. -No meaningful opportunity for career advancement. No training. -The sales and account teams lack awareness of how to fulfill most services, resulting in unrealistic client expectations and timelines. -The leadership team is very cliquish and doesn't respond well to outside voices. -Managers tend to provide minimal direction, micromanage, and gNat-pick work without providing actionable feedback. Meanwhile, they'll use AI to generate their own work. It's a low-trust environment. -The quality of the work was inconsistent. -I witnessed at least 2 fellow employees thrown under the bus for decisions they were not responsible for. Don't expect to be backed up by management. -No real culture. -Several colleagues expressed frustration with unrealistic workloads and timelines.
