Pros
The benefits are good, I started at 3 weeks of vacation (keep in mind this could just be where I work and not nationwide, also you don't get sick/personal days). For the most part the people have been nice but in this position you won't be around anyone at the office very much. If you don't mind extended travel a pro is $120 (where I work) extra for each day you stay out of town. This is to be used for travel expenses like a hotel but you should have some extra that you get to keep.
Cons
I'm writing this for people who, like I was, are looking into this company without really understanding the industry you are getting into. Because they are at the mercy of their clients schedules, Terracon can and will have you work in the middle of the night for extended periods of time (months). This includes weeks where these night shifts are not every day and you will switch back and forth between night shift and day shift throughout the week. Terracon can and will have you work far away jobs where you have to live in a hotel. This isn't just a week here and there, I'm talking months. To top it all off it can be rather difficult to pay all your bills at $12/hr.
