Pros
fast-paced environment good exposure good projects get accelerated quickly
Cons
just got laid off despite doing great work because of favoritism after converting into full time for 1 month and 3 weeks before being laid off, I was pushed badly by stakeholders to finish an innovative job for 24 hours a day, The stakeholders latter accelerated my work to the SVP without fking giving me any credit. told my manager, but didn't get any support. The managers also pushed me to finish another large-scaled project ( yes, as a new comer) alone and did UI, backend, product design and product launching job, testing all by fking myself, ASAP (well, turns out they would like to maximize my contribution before letting me fking go). Asked for support, multiple fking time, didn't get any also. Also, projects given me, a new employee, are all the so-called 'low-priority' projects that they thought were dead-ends, so they can be free to do something 'more exciting', while I managed to make these project more impactful and long-lasting, my effort was still limited, and turns-out, also was a legitimate reason to let me leave. Was under some much pressure coz being sacred of being laid off, so worked for long hours, and indeed got good results as well as great feedbacks from clients, but still got fking chosen to be let go, and they pushed back saying they didn't make the choice. I had a track record of successful academic achievements and multiple internships, I am now out of job, as a new graduate, with 1 month and 3 weeks experience to find another one in 2 months.
