Pros
Where to begin? Casual Dress Code (Flip flops, baseball hats, shorts, jeans, t-shirts), Flexibile Schedule, BONUSES!!!, the company WANTS to grow you, every person in upper management is the nicest person you could ever talk to, actually 99% of the people are absoluetely awesome, they WANT you volunteer and give back to the community and will let you off work to do it, there is NOTHING stuffy about this office, Roadhouse pays a decent chunk of our Healthcare, internally promote ALL the time, I said Jeans already right? That's right, Monday through Friday Jeans, on site gym, free on-going membership to the Heuser Clinic (google it) and Heuser personal trainers come to our on site gym 3x a week to hold group work out classes (Yea - That's like a $2000 yearly value), vacation/personal time, tuition reimbursement, department outtings (can be 1 day or several days....like hey, let's take the department to St. Louis for 3 days this week...why not??) Unplanned/Unexpected employee appreication just happens here. Out of the blue. One Thursday there were camels because it was hump day. One day employees entering the building were being pranked by the Director of Risk - making a funny video to show at the next Support Center meeting. There are 4 support center meetings a year...which is basically 4 half days where you can ask questions about the company, free food, and activities at random venues around the city....PJ Cardinal Stadium, Iriqouis Amp Theater, Bowman Field, etc. You can get off at the 264 Taylorsville Rd exit and be in the parking lot in 2-3 minutes....Take THAT Hurstbourne Lane offices! The culture here is INCREDIBLE! Anyone who doesn't approve of our CEO is a moron. The founder is still VERY active in this company. And he's awesome. He knows how to keep us going & growing, and he does it, and it's awesme! You know what else? It's a company you can believe in. Take pride in. Brag & promote to your friends and family about. They don't coach that to us - it's what you'll want to do. You'll want to expose everyone to how freaking fortunate you are to work here!
Cons
My pay is lower than I could make somewhere else. But look at the pros, how do you put a price on all of that? How much money should I say I'm willing to leave this place I LOVE working at to go work at this company that doesn't respect it's employees, promote growth, continously look for ways to make working here even MORE awesome, etc. It's not easy to put a price on that. If money is what you are looking for, the most money regardless of anything else, you won't like working here. If you realize that you'll likely spend at least 2,000 hours a year here and would like those 2,000 hours to be enjoyable then this probably is a place to consider.
