Pros
Fun, fast paced, and busy environment. Great place to work as a young person. If the Service Manager and GM make a great team and are dedicated to the employees, any restaurant will succeed. But at Texas Roadhouse, I found that the principles of the business made it easier for managers to focus on employees.
Cons
Entirely dependent on FOH manager's character/mood/outlook. A good day for him/her translates pretty readily to a good day for servers, and vice versa. Lots of sidework. Late nights. No lunch shifts during the week - but maybe that could be a pro.
