Teams are small and as an engineer your ideas really have impact on the product. There is a strong group of experts in NLP and machine learning, and good contacts to the academic R&D community. Feedback and appreciation from customers for the product is very direct and rewarding.
Cons
Working with scrum and mixing of customer project work, R&D and product development can sometimes mess up planning and long term priorities.
