Pros
Great pay for minimum education requirements. If you work harder than the bare minimum for them, you will be taken care of. Some deployment sites are amazing. Personal experience for me. They took amazing care of me during some of the hardest times of my life and allowed me to take care of my family and not worry about my job.
Cons
The standard of Crew Rest or what the army calls "Fighter Management" does not apply to the aircrew of this non-program of record aircraft. So you work 12hrs a day, 7days a week until the weather hits or you go on leave. There was in the past a problem with the "Good Ole Boy" System. Meaning being friends with the right person can further your career more than your skill set can.
