ThayerMahan is honestly one of the most interesting companies I've worked for. The work we do in maritime surveillance/security and general ocean operations involves neat, cutting edge technology made by really intelligent people. The people I've worked with have all been supportive, collaborative, and open - people are generous with their time, and excited to talk about what they do. Senior leadership is generally approachable and open, and it's clear they care about the people working for them. I feel like I'm doing meaningful work in my day-to-day. I'd recommend ThayerMahan to anyone.

I don't really have true cons to put here, because anything I can think of is balanced out. It's fast-paced, but that's because we're doing important work in a mission-driven environment with real-world impact. The learning curve can seem steep looking in, but there's an incredible amount of support to make sure everyone succeeds.

This company used to be run by amazing people but they’re all gone now. Either for medical reasons, fired or resigned.

Toxic work environment, constant deceit from senior management, no job security (people are getting fired left & right) The people who actually do the work are being used and fired while upper management continues to get raises and bonuses. They only want yes-men, so you can’t have an opinion.
