Sucks pain in the butt job that tricks people into working for them. - Senior Marketing Consultant The Acquisition Group Employee Review

Pros

Oh lots. The best part is that you basically work for them for free. Go to people's house door to door free advertising for telus. They don't pay you nothing. I signed up like 10 customers and only got paid for one. This is BS If you want to be part of a pyramid scam.

Cons

Everything from long hours to no pay. They don't care if you stay or not. Don't want the job just leave. Everyone seems to be in their own group and never talk to me. Like they are all hot shots. Training was very bad. I had to figure out everything myself. The manager just ignores me whenever I have a question.

Pros

Here's why I love working with The Acquisition Group: - incredibly supportive team environment - tons of career growth - a lot of autonomy, trust, and flexibility - amazing free travel across north america and europe (mexico, vegas, london, florida, texas, toronto, whistler, palm springs, ireland.. etc!) - ongoing recognition, bonus opportunities and competitions - team dinners, parties, conferences and paid training - the clients are great: TELUS, Verizon, Common Good, Inclera, and more - good overall compensation with extra earning opportunities

Cons

Things to consider if you get a chance to join the company: - there's no micromanaging or babysitting - you have to be self motivated - targets can be high, you need to perform under pressure - you need to be a strong communicator and help the people around you - there are busy seasons and work/life balance will fluctuate sometimes - client management can be tricky sometimes

Pros

Great opportunity to grow and develop leadership skills. The culture is very motivating and the environment pushes you to improve every day. If you are hardworking and coachable, there are real opportunities to move up and build your own team. I’ve been here over 6 years and have seen many people grow their careers.

Cons

It’s a performance driven environment, so it’s not for everyone. The pace can be fast and it requires discipline and consistency, especially in the beginning while you’re learning.
