Teachers are only compensated for class time, not cleaning studios, prepping music, staff meetings, adminstrative work like finding your own subs (the manager won't do it, and you don't get paid for it), time sheets (required to spend time doing it, without pay, even if you otherwise didn't work.
* racist and elitist management and clients. The HR person asked me where I was "from from" while checking my USA passport for the I-9. Heard the N-word used twice by two different class attendees. Sense of entitlement among attendees, especially parents of children, is mind boggling.
