Pros

The work is interesting, both in terms of the topics addressed and the varied tasks it entails, from conducting primary research, intervention design and evaluation. The staff is friendly and like-minded. Opportunity to work remotely and flexibly.

Cons

As a whole, the company could benefit from a more active social environment, more frequent get-togethers and a clearer growth strategy.

Pros

Some colleagues were friendly and welcoming.

Cons

Very small, disorganised office with a lack of appropriate equipment for an Office Manager to be able to work efficiently. Disjointed, unfriendly and bizarre communication with senior staff member who I was trying to support. Including rude Whatsapp messages and skyping me at 5pm when I was due to leave the office. Snobby and cut-throat, considering how small and unknown the company is. My contract was terminated after 9 days with the reasons given being false. I noticed that only one colleague really asked me anything about myself in the two weeks I was there.

- Flexible working is offered - People are mostly friendly and informal - Room for creative ideas - The concept of Behavioural Science has a lot of potential - Most colleagues are young and very smart - Project work has potential social/environmental impact - Occasional dinners and drinks are paid for by company - There is no culture of working overtime

Cons

- Manager seems to have problems with controlling anger towards employees when feeling stressed - this affects wellbeing of young employees - Compensation is low - Employee turnover is high - Company does not invest in employees - No management structure in place (too busy with sales) - Little communication between employees and company owners (academics)
