Pros

As an LGBTQ+ member of staff they've made me feel welcome from day one and have gone above and beyond every other company I've worked for. Recently they've introduced a gender identity policy & transitioning policy following a guest speech from Mermaids at their winter conference. This is something many other companies wouldn't even consider, so for a growing company to address this to ensure all staff members feel welcome speaks volumes about their dedication to inclusivity & staff wellbeing. Suffice to say, TBHG looks out for its staff from day one. Lots of training and support from management & a great community of colleagues who are all happy to lend support when needed, or just a friendly ear when you need to take some time to recalibrate. Plenty of opportunities to check in with line managers and department leads so you never feel like you've been thrown to the wolves. Support for personal issues is always offered without being questioned. Whenever new opportunities arise they always look inwards before looking outwards.

Cons

Hard to think of a con. If remote work doesn't suit you then you may struggle, but the company is starting to introduce in-person work opportunities, so even that's being addressed! For me personally, there're no cons.

Pros

Good career growth opportunities within the business as the company is growing. Flexibility to work from home and discuss working patterns with line managers to suit the needs of the employee. Opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and support clients from a variety of different walks of life.

Cons

Due to the nature of the current work and contracts, health professional sessions are usually capped from 5 - 10 sessions per client. Therefore, due to funding restrictions, the number of sessions that are available per client can be limited.
