Pros

The clients you work with are big name companies which is good for your resume. The pay and benefits are okay.

Cons

Be very careful!!! Most roles are essentially contract roles for the client you are working for. When they hire you, they will tell you that you are an employee of TCC but if your client cuts back on the program, they will find you something else. This is NOT true. If the client pulls the funding, you are screwed! They won't have a position internally for you and then you are unemployed. Literally in the interview process I stressed my want to join a company with stability and longevity ... and they lied and said I could find that here. TCC as a company is not doing well - they just fired their CEO and have had layoffs. Also their clients are tech companies that are unpredictable and can pull programs (even successful ones) out of nowhere. Unless you want to constantly worry about losing your job, I'd look elsewhere. I have seen some of the top employees on teams be let go because their salary could not fit into next year's budget due to drawbacks by the clients. Laying people off during the holiday season ... so sad!

We appreciate your candid feedback and want to assure you that we take all concerns seriously. The Channel Company understands that job security and stability are paramount, and your perspective provides valuable insights for our ongoing improvement. Employee well-being and job security are significant priorities for us. We acknowledge the challenges associated with client-driven programs, and want to provide clarity that only a small percentage of jobs within TCC are tied to client renewals. While client programs are subject to budget decisions, we are actively working to implement measures that enhance job security for these types of roles. We are also committed to transparent communication about the nature of client-driven roles during the hiring process. Your feedback emphasizes the need for enhanced clarity in this aspect, and we will strive to ensure that candidates have a comprehensive understanding at the time of hire. We sincerely apologize if this was not your experience and are committed to ensuring that others hired into similar roles do not have the same experience.

Pros

- fantastic schedule & work-life balance - unlimited PTO (that they actually let us use) - in-depth onboarding with plenty of hand-holding - job security & company growth - great teammates & leadership - strong female leadership - strong communication & process documentation -- I don't waffle around trying to understand what I need to do - encouragement of AI tools in use at work--save lots of time & energy on basic things that the various AI scripts can do.

Cons

- salary a little lower than industry standard (but still acceptable, considering the flexibility in the work) - lots of rigor in the processes--particularly if you are with AWS or similar partners that have a ton of specific programs and program reqs you need to know to best advise your partner set - Some tedium tied to being in a contractor type role--mirroring calendars, juggling multiple laptops, not really feeling that I can say I work for TCC (must say AWS). Very minor inconvenience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with TCC. Please know that we appreciate the thoughtful feedback. We’re glad the flexibility of our remote model and our approach to PTO are coming through positively. Supporting autonomy in how and where people work remains a core focus for TCC. We hear the feedback on repetitive administrative work. Reducing that is a priority, and AI and automation are becoming a core part of how we operate. The goal is to streamline manual work and create more space for high impact contributions. #AIPowered.HumanLed We also recognize that building connection in a fully remote environment takes intention, and we are actively creating more meaningful ways for teams to connect. Thanks again for sharing your perspective. Feedback like this helps shape how we continue to evolve.
