      Pros

      This is a employer which values their employees. Employees are compensated better than most other places of employment hiring interns. Everyone is great to work with and there is a strong team environment

      Cons

      Underwriting is simply not an enjoyable field. It was good experience for an internship, but not something I would want to do for the next ten years.

      Great pay and wonderful benefits

      Cons

      Supervisors sneaking in while you're on a chat to live monitor you is micromanagement and it started being annoying with the petty meetings. Cigna allows their members to chat in and speak to you rudely about complex claim issues that should be called in. It is only so much you can explain via chat.
