Pros

Unsure…6 weeks ago would’ve given the company a glowing 5 star review. Then they completely turned on us.

Cons

New return to office initiative which wouldn’t be terrible except they are revoking EVERYONE’s work from home status. Worked from Home 15 years pre-pandemic? You now have to come in. I was literally hired for a work from home position…they told me they are revoking it. I live more than 50 miles from an office. I asked for an exception. Sr leadership told me they would only make an exception for employees with “special skills” whose skills could not be replaced in other locations. So literally no one can get an exception b/c everyone is replaceable. I asked what my options were and they told me to look outside the company for work. I’ve been loyal to this company for years. Stellar performance reviews. Outstanding raises. Awards. This is absolutely baffling. So be warned. And they are still advertising work from home positions. Do not be fooled. And if a recruiter tells you otherwise, find someone within the company who can give you the latest inside communications being shared with us

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
