Pros

Pay and PTO was great Employees were really nice.

Cons

-The job is essentially a cold calling sales job. Most of the customers you outreach to do not want to be bothered and hang up on you. Combine that with an unrealistic say yes rate of 90% to customers who didn't even ask for your services. -Training was all over the place. -The systems and processes were outdated. Had to navigate through five or six systems for every call and most steps were redundant. Like using three systems to essentially log the same information instead of them being connected. -Time was extremely micromanaged. Every single minute of your day had to be accounted for using one of the many systems. -Health benefits were very expensive especially since this is a health insurance company.

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
