Pros
We had some great residents that I enjoyed daily interactions with and the Recognition and Rewards program is pretty cool when they actually choose to get you things from the list. Also, if the property is in a desperate enough situation there can be really good Spiffs to make quick cash!
Cons
This company is ONLY concerned about making money. If you are considering this company, please understand that it is a real estate investment firm NOT a property management company. In my experience with The Connor Group, the daily tasks are not about creating the best environment for the residents, but using slimy sales tactics to beg current residents to renew their leases and potential residents to sign a lease under any cost. They will only give you a few weeks to a few months to figure out how to force people to live there and if you can't catch on, they just fire you. After being there less than a month, employees and residents started saying "oh you're still here? We haven't had a sales associate last this long in months". There are red flags everywhere and I advise taking note of them before just accepting the position because it seems good on paper.
