The workplace environment was quite chaotic and disorganized. It was concerning to witness the warehouse staff enduring the management of an abusive female manager who had issues with alcohol and ruled with fear. Additionally, it seemed like the company's headquarters often assigned tasks to individuals who lacked the necessary experience, primarily due to a lack of effort on their part. The CEO's absence and apparent lack of interest in the company's affairs left much to be desired. Never visited stores or the warehouse. There were instances when several of us faced delayed paycheck payments, and the company's policy for paid time off (PTO) was one of the most unfavourable we'd encountered. The health insurance offered was the most basic and cost-effective plan available that offered nothing to its employees. It felt as though this start-up was more focused on boosting its social media presence than effectively managing its business operations. This was quite disappointing because the company undoubtedly had the potential to thrive.
