Pros
My 5-year anniversary with The Devine Group is next week and yet it seems like just yesterday when I walked through those doors for the first time. Every day I tell myself how blessed I am to work for such a great company. Pros to working here: Exceptional work environment - seriously you have to see it to believe it; everyone who visits our office loves it; we have tons of windows and glass for natural light; desks that rise so you can stand or sit as needed; three training rooms of various sizes; a loft for reading or watching TV or just hanging out; a kitchen stocked with waters, sodas, coffee, tea and more free of charge every day; a spa bathroom for those who like to run or walk before, during or after work; a shuffle board table to blow off steam; located in a nice part of town near restaurants with easy access to highways Amazing people who are smart and challenge you every day. They are funny and energetic, as well as collaborative and compassionate. We have potluck lunches and holiday celebrations. Those in leadership work very hard and inspire all of us to learn and grow and dream. We are a small business so there is always opportunity to try something new or get involved in different areas which may interest you. The company provides a great benefit package including PTO, 401K and Health and Dental Insurance all at a reasonable rate. Our products/services help people and companies grow and succeed. The tools help individuals learn more about themselves, which strengthens confidence and performance. Our assessments also help leaders leverage the strengths of their people and overcome any gaps or limitations, which may be limiting success.
Cons
We have several people who work remote (out of state) and we don't get to see them very often. We could do a better job of bringing them together with the team. We are not as nimble when it comes to flextime and working from home. I think leadership just likes to see our faces every day. We only have 7 paid holidays per year - more would be nice.
