Oh man... Where do I even start.
-Let's start with Apparaisals. Let's say you joined today. Wow yay new job. Guess when your first appariasal amount will be credited to your bank ? At MINIMUM... 18 months from today. How ? Well after you complete one year, your due for an appraisal. The meetings take place either in Jan or July... BUT BUT BUT... The money is only given to you 6 months AFTER that meeting. I swear I'm not making this up. Go to the company gate around 1 o'clock or lunch time and ask any of them.
- They have these older managers that have been around for a while. They might have made some money for the company at one point. Currently these guys are just toxic. They have no managerial experience.
Some of these older managers have their wives in QA. Now there's nothing wrong with that, if they actually performed. I swear these people have no business being a QA, can't understand concepts and don't know how to test products besides manual testing. Also even that they don't understand properly.
In the 2 years I've worked here, every new and capable manger the company has hired has left within 6-11 months. I'm not joking. They don't stick around because they know their talents are better utilised else where.
Processes. I don't think the PMO/CEO/CTO knows what that actually means. By the way, this is a family run business ... CEO/CFO/CTO are all related somehow ... Brother/sister/brother-in-law type thing.
HR - they are the only team or BU that generate money for the company. They do so by making sure they can cut some part of your salary. Also they seem rather happy and proud of it.
3 months notice period. And if during the 6 months of waiting for your appariasal you put in your resignation... You won't get the money.
WFH. At one point my reporting manager had to ask the CTO for approval to give me WFH for a day. Just think about that for a minute. The managers aren't even empowered to make that descision by themselves. That's just a sad state of affairs.
Good god I have so many more .... Listen...if you need the money then only join. Otherwise try looking for a company with a more structured set of processes and management.
i wonder who these guys hire to write their fake reviews. One review said the position they worked was a "program analyst". We don't even have such a position in this company. Lol.
