Pros

Mixed reality stuff is cool

Cons

HORRIBLE planning and management. Owners can be told of abusive situations by at least 3 or 4 people and will do NOTHING about it. Zero support. Do you enjoy watching your coworkers get worked into the ground because they refuse to invest in hiring? You'll love this place! Illegal pay practices include forcing people to be 1099 when they do not qualify, no benefits, no reimbursement for gas (for PAs), over working people because you "have to be willing to do whatever it takes." They also try to do shady pay roll where you are supposed to invoice after 30 days and then they pay 30 days after that. These people are awful and TERRIBLE at business. There is literally no culture or values here. Just work yourself to death. Also, they fired the one black person that worked here and the one hispanic girl quit due to zero career opportunities. Very little diversity left here.

Pros

Pretty decent equipment to work on. Lots of snacks and drinks on hand. You can bring your dog on puppy day and of course other employees will love you for it. SCRUMs every day. Great camaraderie amongst fellow contractors. Lest I forget, fantastic bbqs and bagel Fridays.

Cons

Place is a bit dirty and unprofessional. Workers are somewhat packed like sardines. The culture between regular employees and "freelancers/contractors" is contentious. A full time employee can get a contractor out by whining enough, upper management will get rid of that freelancer to appease a full timer. The management will lie to you when they let you go so you don't make a stink. Management is a bit of a joke. The owner is there, but not really. I didn't see much interaction from him. Freelancers must keep their own hours and bill them to the company. This can lead to accusations of padding hours.
