Terrible experience - Legal Assistant The Federal Practice Group Employee Review

Really helpful staff and reasonable work expectations.

Had to get internship through the Washington Center, which is an awful program.

• Remote • Interesting cases • Some genuinely good people stuck in a difficult environment

• Leadership communication is reactive and often unprofessional • Employees are expected to anticipate needs without being informed • Work can be dismissed entirely after extensive effort • Little accountability at the top, high accountability everywhere else • Burnout is treated as a personal failure rather than a systemic issue • Clarity is treated as optional, but perfection is mandatory
