Pros

Working as a Wedding Coordinator at this company has genuinely been the best job I've ever had. From day one, I felt supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow. The management team saw potential in me that I didn't always see in myself and continuously pushed me to develop my skills, take on new responsibilities, and step outside of my comfort zone. Their belief in me played a huge part in helping me climb the ladder and progress in my career. The role itself was incredibly rewarding, allowing me to be part of some of the most important days in people's lives, while working alongside a passionate and dedicated team. The environment was fast-paced and demanding at times, but the support, training, and opportunities for development made it all worthwhile. I will always be grateful for the opportunities I was given, the confidence that was placed in me, and the experiences I gained. If you're looking for a company that invests in its people, encourages growth, and truly helps you reach your potential, I couldn't recommend it more highly.

I have worked for the company for nearly 9 years now, the progression and support within the company is unlike any other business I’ve worked for. Working under the Gilchrist Collection from the very start, I have been incredibly fortunate to watch it grow from the very beginning of my journey at our first venue to the successful business it is today. Being part of that growth has been something I am truly proud of. What has always stood out to me is the genuine care and passion that goes into every single wedding across the whole collection. The company has never lost sight of what matters most or the moral compass of the most important values – creating unforgettable experiences for couples and their guests. The standards are exceptionally high, but so is the support, respect, and dedication shown to both staff and clients. Over the years, I’ve seen the company continue to evolve, invest in its venues, and build an amazing team, all while maintaining a very personal approach that makes it so special. It’s truly the best place to work, and I feel privileged to have played a part in so many couples’ special days. I look forward to seeing what the future holds as the company continues to grow and thrive.

This has given me great exposure to different teams and ways of working, and I’ve always felt supported in my development. One of the most rewarding parts of the role is being part of such an important day in people’s lives. Working in weddings is incredibly fulfilling, and no two days are ever the same. The company genuinely cares about its people. There is a strong focus on team support, family values, and creating a positive working environment.
