Pros

Working with well known brands will look good on your cv,but that’s it. If you’re not desperate for some money to pay bills, or you have no experience and that’s your only option to get it, then I would not bother.

Cons

Salary that’s really below market rates, daily unpaid overtime with unrealistic workload, unpaid weekend work, very old company laptop. Senior management also likes to blame their poor judgment and mistakes on junior staff to look good in front of clients. If you value your personal life and dislike being treated like a child, don’t work here, as you’ll be easily doing 10-12hours days instead of the contracted 7h30, and you’ll be micro managed every second of the day.

The Goat Agency Response

It’s disappointing to read a review that simply doesn't reflect or tell the truth about our agency. We pride ourselves on creating an excellent environment for our staff to build a long-term career. We fully expect, encourage and empower our staff to have an excellent work-life balance. We do this by offering flexi-hours, mandatory holiday days and have an agency-wide remote-first working policy (we do have a permanent office for everyone to use but we do not mandate any days in the office). That said, as anyone who works in the marketing industry can attest it's not always possible to work 9 -5 each day. To say we give staff old laptops is simply untrue. Everyone in the agency works on the latest M1 Macbook Air - if not better. We are also very open and transparent that we're a performance based marketing agency in our interview and onboarding processes. Our culture is built around creating success and rewarding our team. We review salaries every 6 months through our appraisal process, offer weekly and monthly rewards to highlight excellence, and offer a scaling employee benefits package which gets better every year you've been with us.
