Pros

- Clients: opportunities to work with global brands, and you're given the autonomy to grow them how you choose to. You're also rewarded for the growth of your clients - GroupM/ WPP benefits: Great benefits that come with being part of a corporate organisation

Cons

Goat have made a name for themselves, but sadly isn't living up to it. - Poor structure: Account managers are glorified project managers who work in silos, there isn't much client servicing or account leadership with the role. - No work life balance: everyone in Accounts and Campaigns is expected to work across 15-30 campaigns/clients at once, leading to high pressure and stress. The workload means everyone is always at capacity and extremely stretched. Working longer hours in agencies is typical, but employees in Accounts and Campaigns are working long hours daily - Chaos: Lack of organisation across the company so everything is chaotic and last minute. It's surprising for a company of this size to operate like this, with no clear structures, or processes. Everything is rushed. - Quality: Standard of work across the board is poor, everyone is stretched so the quality is slipping. - Lack of forecasting: There doesn't seem to be an internal process to review how many campaigns is manageable per person. The culture at Goat is just to win new work and take on more clients, without any plans to hire more or grow the teams.
