If you don't fit in, you'll be fired and they'll blatantly lie about why they're firing you. I was either ignored entirely or heavily watched and scrutinized during the training process. Did not experience much kindness here. I had shifts that were low-key socially traumatizing. They care more about speed over quality and hand out burnt espresso shots every time. Taking your legal breaks is discouraged so much that you'll be the odd one out asking to take your 10-minute break, so people typically don't ask or take them. This was an awful experience and so draining to feel mistreated. Good for young people who are not as experienced to know there are much better jobs (and more compassionate employers) out there.
