Pros
Nothing positive about working here
Cons
Toxic work culture across the whole company, favouritism, micromanagement in the office and HR brainwashing their employees so they score well in the Great Place To Work survey. I worked in this company full-time for 6 years and was bullied by my direct manager who did everything to make me leave (because they saw me as a threat to their position and authority). Managers micromanage, favourite, bully, many of them have no experience in jobs they do yet they manage the team of skilled and trained people without actually knowing anything about the industry or not having any experience or education in the field. There’s no proper career path or structure. This company doesn’t provide any benefits to its employees apart from a small annual bonus (which obviously varies from role to role). The pension enrolment, statutory maternity leave/pay and sick pay are NOT BENEFITS, they’re legal requirements!! This company offers you free tea & coffee - that’s also not a benefit as we all own a kettle or a coffee subscription these days! Most of the staff is on very low/minimum wage (unless you’re a manager on a higher position) and the roles that require training or certificate are also very poorly paid (my role was underpaid by 20k!) and there’s no way to get a proper payrise unless you actually change the company (I’ve been told by one of the managers). If you raise a concern about something they’ll make you feel like you’re the bad one who’s not behaving because there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the company or the way they run it. Many good and skilled people realise early in the stage what kind of company this is and they leave (or are fired because they “don’t fit”). Don’t waste your time, energy or mental health with this bunch, they’ll suck the life out of you and make you question your own sanity!
