Pros

Security of having a job for now

Cons

EVERYTHING, the pay, leadership, work life balance, the culture. But it starts at the top. The owners of Jonus are no different from people you meet on the street that are looking to take advantage of you and when you speak up they fire you AND KEEP YOUR PLACEMENT FEES. 95% of the people at jonus (currently) are absolutely miserable and hate working for Jonus. Among most of the conversations we all the Recruiters are always extremely fearful (INCLUDING ME) because Jonus always constantly pumps Fear into their employees. At the end of the day we all have to put food on the table so you take the abuse. They send threatening emails daily, they threaten to take away your placements just because they can.. its the worst company culture I have ever experienced. They are the MOST CUT-THORAT company I have ever worked for. They fire Recruiters at 10PM and 10:01 PM the email goes out that your no longer with Jonus and your candidates are free game.. The owners Pete and Gene are the worst owners I have ever interacted with. THE PAY IS LAUGHABLE, THEY NEVER GIVE HOLIDAY BONUSES, THE CULTURE THEIR IS SO TOXIC THAT IT EASILY LEAKS INTO YOUR LIFE AT HOME.. I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS COMPANY FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE BECAUSE THE THINGS I HAVE SEEN AND EXPERIENCED THERE.. I WONT EVER LET ANOTHER COMPANY DE-VALUE ME AND TREAT ME LIKE GARBAGE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, IF YOU AR CONSIDERING JONUS.... LOOK ON LINKED-IN, FIND A RECRUITER THAT HAS BEEN THERE MORE THAN 6 MONTHS.. AFTER THAT CONVERSATION I GUARANTEE YOU WILL RUN FOR THE HILLS !

Pros

Success here is highly driven by individual effort. If you’re proactive and consistent, there’s a lot of opportunity, but it’s definitely a ‘you get what you put in’ environment.

Cons

Rewards are primarily based on top numbers, which can lead to leadership efforts and other meaningful contributions being under appreciated .

Pros

Remote. Medical base plan paid by company (high deductible though). Minimal micromanagement. Company is full of good people who are always willing to help you out. They also took into consideration employee feedback and implemented some refreshing changes for 2026.

Cons

Your experience will depend on your assigned market and leader. Regardless of job title or role, some of the more tenured employees are a little too comfortable and certain behaviors will just become HR issues as the company grows.
