TLC Review - Registered Early Childhood Educator (ECE) The Little Campus Employee Review

I want start off by saying that I absolutely love working at this childcare centre! It's seriously the best place I've ever worked at. They treat us like professionals and really care about us. First, they pay us well and give us 30-minute paid breaks every day. We also get a whole hour of planning time! It's amazing because we can actually plan stuff for our kiddos and make sure they're getting the best experience possible. They even have a staff room with coffee and snacks! It's like they know exactly what we need to keep us going all day long. They also remember our birthdays and celebrate them with us. It's such a nice gesture that makes us feel appreciated. But you know what's really great about this place? The support they give us. We're always in ratio or have more staff than needed. If we need help or just a breather, the directors are there in a heartbeat. I've even seen the owner step in and put a crying baby to sleep. It's like we're one big family here, without all the drama. Yup, can you imagine that? Drama-free work zone! Overall, if you're looking for a place where they treat you right, value your work, and create a supportive and drama-free environment, this childcare centre is where it's at. We take The Whole Child Approach seriously and make sure every child feels seen, supported, and loved.

There's a lot more they do to show they care about us, but if I had to say something not so perfect, it's the prices they charge families. I get it, they want provide strong programs and have enough awesome staff members like us. But it means that not all families can afford to send their kids here, and that's a bummer. It's more of a government problem, though, not something the centre can control because they do put a lot of money into the centre: It’s clean, high end toys and furniture, well paid staff, specialty programming, etc.

I began working at The Little Campus in February, and i fell in love with the environment and workplace! I have worked at several different daycares and no place has compared to this one. Everyone is so beyond supportive, this includes other workers, the directors, and Tami and Carl, everyone here wants you to succeed and they will do anything to help you do such! The management team is exceptional; they are not only approachable and supportive but also genuinely invested in both the staff's and the children's well-being. Their dedication to make sure every employee is happy, by actively communicating with one another create a collaborative and inclusive work environment. The team is comprised of dedicated professionals who are passionate about early childhood education. The camaraderie among the staff is evident, fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere. Everyone works seamlessly together, ensuring that the children receive the highest level of care and attention. The facility itself is well-maintained, with a focus on creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for the children. The thoughtful planning and resources available contribute to an enriching experience for both the children and the staff. Overall, The Little Campus stands out as a workplace where the management's commitment to excellence and the staff's dedication create a truly exceptional setting. It’s a place where everyone’s efforts are valued and where a collaborative spirit thrives.
