Pros
The mission of the company is genuinely beautiful, and the families and children you work with make it worthwhile. The first location i worked at was a wonderful experience with strong ownership and real support. There are people within this company who truly care.
Cons
My experience at the corporate location was a completely different story. I came in as Program Director to a location with no systems or processes in place and built their operations essentially from scratch(and from the former gym i worked at). When my manager went on maternity leave, corporate placed her responsibilities on top of mine with no additional compensation and little support. The workload became so unsustainable that I developed migraines and vision problems. When I would get very sick, I was forced to choose between cancelling the kids classes or pushing through while feeling awful. No support or grace was ever shown. When I eventually gave my two-week notice, I was met with coldness and pressure to extend & not a single person asked if I was okay. Months later I learned my former manager had been speaking negatively about me to staff, which speaks to the professionalism of the leadership at this location.
