Cons
Although working with the kids are great, because the program has incredibly low retention rate the students that are disrespectful are very rarely disciplined. When I was hired no one told me there would be no direct deposit, it was a contract job and no one even gave me a pay schedule, I should have asked at that point but I was led to believe I would be getting paid bi weekly. Pay is once a month (but actually every 6 weeks because nothing is ever sent on time). Not once has anyone in upper management come to see how the school is run and instead just expects everything to run smoothly with NO support. I have worked with various non profits and organizations throughout the years- this program will end up being diluted to one building because they are incredibly disorganized. Emails always have a rude undertone and upper management can definitely take a training on how to lower ther passive aggressiveness. If you like being paid every 6 weeks (or more), rude staff, a disorganized company and no support - this is definitely the company for you! If you are a teacher and need to go part time or are looking for part time work at any point, please do not apply here, you will have months of headaches. I have seen instructors cry and I myself have had plenty of breakdowns.
