Pros

- People are lovely - Office is a really nice, bright space / working environment - Coffee machine and amazing once-weekly lunches - Great equipment and desk set up - Gym membership is a great perk - Lots of talented people

Cons

- Extremely low starting salaries, junior salary is pretty much impossible to live on in London. For a company that purports to have a strong culture and people-first ethos, they actually pay junior employees less than the London living wage. When I brought this up I was ignored. - The idea of ‘Do good, feel good’ is a bit of a farce unfortunately. Very few of the projects that they take on involve any notion of doing good for the world, which leaves a lot of the team feeling uninspired. - Working hours were 9-6pm everyday which feels unnecessarily long. These were never adjusted / reconsidered, even when there wasn’t a lot of work on. Beyond that there is a culture of working late and people will often feel awkward for leaving on time. - Upper management can be quite rude, completely ignoring Teams messages and emails from junior team members. - Serious lack of diversity across both studios. - Redundancies were poorly managed, the process taking a few months and causing a lot of people unnecessary stress. Also their second round of redundancies within a few years.

Pros

The people are fantastic and you get to work with the same global clients as at massive network agencies, but with the freedom you get from an indi. The owners will always provide opportunities for good people who work hard to learn and grow which is clear from the number of people there who have worked in the business for 10 years or more. Lots of initiatives like time back for working late, housekeeper who cooks lunch etc to make sure they're looking after the team.

Cons

Split of teams across 3 studios can make communication hard / slow at times
