Pros

Great Human Resources Personnel Company Vision is Positive Upper Management Leaders are Sincere Oregon Office Seems to Have it Together

Cons

Washington Office: You might feel like this office is a remake of the Sopranos or a tacky version of Mean Girls. A rather "tart" mid-level manager runs around the office like they're a mob boss. They like to blame others for their lack of work ethic, creating issues and drama for subordinate employees. The number of employees who have been put on corrective plans only to prove to HR that they don't need them is quite staggering. Maybe look at the common denominator? New recruits are welcome to join this "Manager's" pack, but be weary if you don't make "the cut". This manager is a joke and their record of agency job-hopping should be a clue to upper management that they're not to be trusted; However, this person knows how to brown-nose in all the right places and has a sickly sweet demeanor to their superiors. This person is a bad seed who's planted them-self in the right pot.

Pros

Where to start? I'm very fortunate to be an employee of The Partners Group - not only do I feel supported, valued, and empowered to do my job well, but the company culture and core values are consistently authentic and make this company a truly great place to work. In my experience, managers and leaders here are open to listening (they welcome and frequently ask for feedback). As an organization we are constantly looking for ways to improve, expand our learning and understanding, and ultimately BE BETTER (in our jobs, with our clients, with each other, in our day-to-day lives, in our hiring, communication, business practices, etc.). I especially love the company's purpose - to make a difference in our communities through our work and inspire others to do the same. This intention and our core values are not just aspirational - it's already who we are. Sure, TPG is by no means a utopian company, and it will go through some growing pains as the organization continues to evolve and expand, but so far it's the best place I've ever worked, and I see myself staying here a very long time.

Cons

Nothing significant enough to mention (after 1+ years with the company).
