Cons
Mental health needs of all students are becoming a larger and larger factor which impacts their ability to access their education. More support and funding is needed for students outside of the school realm in order for them to get the help they need so they can be successful at school.
I work at Pathway because of the following: expertise of colleagues, dedicated direct care staff and the opportunity to really make a difference in our students' lives.
Cons
Some of the challenges include: low salary, don't offer benefits for your spouse and dependents. I pay a, significant amount of my income toward medical benefits each month for my family.
