Every paycheck will be short and late. If you want your full pay amount, owner suddenly has new rules as to why you get paid less this week, and will end the discussion with "remember?" to gaslight you. If you keep pushing for your money she will get aggressive. Has an exploitative quota system that ensures you will make low pay most days of the week, despite all days being at least 10-12 hour days. This quota system also means other groomers will be cutting corners and doing a bad job just to make their numbers. Many customers complain- owner doesn't care. There is no integrity here. Other employees can and will quite literally bully you- by leaving nasty notes in your work space, texting you at all hours of the night, stealing and vandalizing your tools, writing vague anonymous threats inside your workspace, cussing and yelling at you, and threatening to hit you. When you report this to the owner, she will shift the blame to you, try to guilt trip you for reporting said behavior, and do nothing to the offenders. You'll have to continue to work with your bullies. Anyone gets hired with no background checks, so there is a convicted animal abuser and felons on staff. Nothing is ever good enough for the business owner, and she'll work you like an indentured servant while only complaining.
