Pros
The people are wonderful, compassionate, and truly care about each other and their families. There is a lot of dedication to the community and a desire to make a change, good intentions. The farm likes to try new things and expand so that it can serve more. Can be a good place to get feet wet if wanting to explore mental health, social services, community service, youth justice.
Cons
The pay is far far below market expectations compared to other agencies of its nature. Communication is low, inconsistent, and confusing. The farm tends to act before it has a solid plan of action which can make it difficult for employees to keep up. Boundaries are a huge concern, and an overall lack of professionalism. Expectations for performance are unclear and inconsistent. Little to no training. No on site management when services are happening.
