Pros
It's a corporate environment so you can go about doing your own thing- if you can manage your time. Pay and benefits are far from the worst- they actually are one of the driving forces behind the people who are there. They used to throughly take care of lunches but have severely cut back.
Cons
Raise or promotion? "You need to perfect where you are now before we would even consider one of those options" and if you aren't happy where you are, go to another company because they really don't care if you're happy or want to love elsewhere in the company. In reality- you are just a number and there to make numbers for the company. If you are satisfied letting your brain go to mush and sitting in a desk doing a monotonous task then this job is for you.
