Pros
Competitive pay, full books, fairly tidy space, fair employer as said above. The clientele was a joy to serve, mostly college students. My employer was open to my feedback and allowed me to customize my position i.e. I offered nutrition workshops on Sundays when her shop was closed.
Cons
We ran low on supplies at times i.e. I need wax to wax the client. The owner is a very self-contained relatively serious person. I prefer more convivial relations between work peers. We were also over-booked which led to clients waiting for late-start appointments. That was also physically arduous. I prefer a more human pace in booking time-slots. There was some staff drama where certain Providers caused others' upset.
