Pros

Nice office location and coworkers

Cons

- bosses are very difficult to deal with, can be mean and are very negative/moody - poor communication - little to no workflow or training structure - high turnover rate with workers - never got my 401(k) started as promised, never got profit sharing either - paychecks were late several times and I had to ask to be paid - had to use personal cell phone for business work - lack of training - owners discourage socialization between coworkers - lack of transparency - complete lack of consistency (expectations & requirements constantly shifting with no warning & no reason)

Pros

I've worked with the spr agency for 3 years. It's been a great experience. I started as an intern and worked up to a full-time position running my own accounts. I had a great intern experience. I was trained in everything I was asked to do, and as I improved my performance I was given more opportunity and more responsibility. Ultimately, I was offered a job and moved from intern to account executive. It was a very important step in my career and I cannot say how much I appreciated Al and Christy's willingness to train me and their belief in my abilities. My experience as in intern with the spr agency allowed me to get to where I am today, and that's why I'm happy to write this review for the company. I think it's important to recognize the people who support you and opportunities you're given. Thank you for helping me get a start in this business.

Cons

There seriously aren't any. I have the career I have today because of my internship at the spr agency.

Pros

+ Agency itself is located in a nice area, in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale + "Profit sharing" and 401k + High quality clients

Cons

- Very small company with a high turnover - No transparency - Employee bashing behind backs - Serious lack of communication - Owners are unapproachable - Work flow process is non-existent - Little to no training - Criticism turns into borderline verbal abuse (It's a writing position and criticism is necessary and expected in a position as such, but this is a whole different level of "criticism") - Too many accounts for the amount of employees - Silent treatments from the owners - Overall the work environment has so much tension almost everyday that it becomes majorly unproductive and stressful - "No talking allowed" any kind of chit chat is reprimanded and even productive group brainstorming isn't seen in positive light +/- Working directly under the owners should be a pro but unfortunately at this agency, it is not
