Pros

Learn the ins and outs of custom upholstery! Some view this as a temporary position to catapult them to being an Interior Designer, etc, which is great, but causes a lot of turn over. If you really want to be there and learn, the owners and management encourage you to come to the factory and learn how their products are made. This was great and really helped my sales! If you can explain why a product is superior, you build a great client base.

Cons

This is a commission job. You have to build your client base (as is with most commission jobs like car salesmen, etc) so it can take a month or two until you see your sales climb. If you need a steady income, and are not a go getter this is not the job for you. Not much room to move up in the company.
