Pros

After two years at The Trading Pit, I can say the atmosphere makes coming to work easy—even on Mondays. People are welcoming, and no matter your role, your ideas are heard. There’s a strong team vibe, where you can actually speak up and be listened to. You’re constantly exposed to new things—CFDs, Futures, and now Stocks—so there’s always something to learn on the technology and trading side. The company puts effort into work-life balance, offers a provident fund and solid medical coverage, and keeps the kitchen stocked with snacks and coffee. Plus, the social events aren’t just good fun, they give everyone a chance to connect outside of work.

Cons

One thing I’ve noticed is that most employees—including myself—actually see what some might call a “con” as more of a “pro.” That is, the fast pace and multiple responsibilities can be intense, and it’s definitely not a place to expect a slow or easy ride. You will be juggling a lot at times, which can feel stressful if you prefer a more predictable workload. For me, it’s the kind of challenge that keeps me sharp and motivated, but I get that it might not suit everyone’s style. The good news is management is aware of the pressure and hires extra help when needed, so it’s not like you’re left hanging when things get busy.

Pros

Dynamic and fast-paced environment with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Truly amazing team — supportive, talented, and always willing to help each other succeed. Strong sense of collaboration and trust across the company. The management team is approachable, transparent, and aligned with the company’s vision. High level of ownership and autonomy in day-to-day work. Exciting challenges that allow you to make a real impact.

Cons

As with many startups, processes are still evolving and not always fully structured. Priorities can shift quickly depending on business needs. Workload may sometimes be intense during high-growth periods.

Pros

Little to no pros, in vain

Cons

- Toxic management. Really focused on firing out those who helped build the company. Cutting costs wherever possible to ensure stakeholders are kept happy. Micromanaging and many in leadership are faking it until they make it. - Turnover is the new constant. Entire layers of product, marketing, sales, tech leadership have left. Two project managers cycled through in under a year. - The culture rewards those who create visibility of work and agree with every stupid idea management has. If you raise legitimate concerns or push back based on experience, you’re likely to get sidelined, shut out, or quietly forced out. Have seen many current and former colleagues encounter this.
