Pros
Shift availability and large customer base.
Cons
Servers and staff are underappreciated. There are no opportunities for raises or advancement and negotiating salaries will get you absolutely nothing. Staff are overworked and micromanaged by managers that seem to be there for no more than a few months. I've never met anyone at the company who has been there very long, it is a very toxic work environment and management only seeks to make it worse. There were occasions of our management allowing drunk patrons to drive home because "what are we supposed to do about it". After a domestic dispute between customers and a threat carried out against a female patron, managers told us to ignore it and let them go home together. Tips from parties are pooled together and unfairly divided. I even learned that some of the tip pool money was being kept by the management so they could buy Nuggets tickets to treat staff. I'd certainly rather pay my bills than see a Nugget's game, but that might just be me. Management is not understanding of any sort of lateness no matter the reason and seem to be anywhere other than where you need them, like hiding in the office while we struggle to maintain peace with customers.
